ABOUT MOTO CHIRO
Chiropractor by day, rider by night. Dr. Mindi knows the biker body better than anyone else. When she’s not in her office, she’s out in the open air…taking her ride out along the coast and soaking up the SoCal rays. She’s been riding for years and just got a new sweet ride, which you’ll see curbside when you come into her office or meet up with her for a run. As a doctor, she’s an expert in the stresses and strains that bikers deal with and the injuries that can happen after years on the road.
An out-of-the-box chiropractor who goes beyond just taking care of your back and actually looking at your body as a whole, as an awesome, well-engineered machine, just like your bike. Because it’s not just about one part of the body, it’s about how that part affects everything else. Like a leaky gas value or a squeaky gear, it throws off the rest of the ride, which is why Dr. Mindi goes beyond the typical chiropractic experience. Dr. Mindi looks for signs of wear and tear and how a rider’s body is being affected by the stresses that motorcycle riding can bring. She catches any issues right in their tracks to prevent them from becoming injuries down the road and is just as skilled with immediate needs and injuries to help bikers heal faster. And she does this with custom care and individual treatment that meets the needs of each rider. Check out MotoChiro’s offering page to learn more.
Her goal is to make as many bikers in the SoCal area and beyond ride at their healthiest and their best, so they can do what they love and hit the road for years to come. Here’s the geeky academic side: Dr. Mindi Jentes, B.A., D.C. is the owner & chiropractor of MotoChiro, serving the Los Alamitos and greater Long Beach/North OC areas. She graduated from the Southern California University of Health Sciences with a Doctor of Chiropractic in December 2013 and has a Bachelor of Arts in Opera Performance from Grace College in June 1996. If you get to know her long enough, you may be graced with her rockin’ voice.
The MotoChiro family is your family. Dr. Mindi’s husband (and fellow rider), Mike Jentes helps with much of the behind-the-scenes action. Her Public Relations Director, Scott Cox (a motocross rider) is the go to guy for all the marketing and events for the MotoChiro.
These guys along with the front desk crew will make your experience run like a well-oiled machine. Get to know us. Swap stories. Share experiences. Laugh a little and have fun with us, because after all, that’s what getting better should be all about.
Not some boring doctor’s office with stock white walls, bland art, and outdated magazines. Chill on one of the big comfy chairs while you wait (just a few) for your appointment. You’ll spot inspirational quotes, family photos, and biker pics along the walls. Coming into my office is like stepping into a cozy living room.
MotoChiro is where I do the work that I love, so I’ve made it feel like I’m right at home. And I want my patients to feel the same. That’s just the beginning. I don’t believe that one approach fits all. No patient in my office is the same, and I treat you that way. We’re going to have a lot of face-time together, much more than what you’d get in the typical doctor’s office, so I can listen to you and your concerns, hear your story, take my time to do a thorough evaluation, and then create a custom treatment plan that’s 100% tailored to your needs and goals.
Every rider has a different goal in mind. Some want to stay out of pain. Some are feeling age creep in and want to get their health back. Either way, my biggest goal for each of them and for you is to make you as healthy as you can be, and keep you that way, so you can do what you love without your health holding you back.
Front Office Assistant
Hello! My name is Julia. I am one of the front office assistants. I have been a patient of Dr. Mindi’s for over a year, and have benefited greatly from the chiropractic care in relation to headaches, migraines, and anxiety. Being able to work for Dr. Mindi has been a wonderful experience. I love helping others get the care they need and deserve, all the while meeting great people! I look forward to meeting you and helping you too!
My name is Mike. I am Dr. Mindi's husband and am responsible for website maintenance and back office assistance. I have been under chiropractic care for many years now. Over the last few years I have experienced increased stamina and athletic performance. I currently ride a Yamaha V-Star Silverado and enjoy road trips with my girl. I also enjoy lost distance running and know that without regular chiropractic care, I would not be able to maintain this high level of performance.
Marketing & Communications
Hello! My name is Kayla. I am Dr. Mindi's daughter and assist with marketing and communications. I am responsible for writing all the literature content, newsletter publication, and coordinating with the public relations director. I too enjoy riding and sports of all kinds. I played basketball in high school and was a member of a high ranking marching band. I have been under regular chiropractic care since I was 6 years old and am currently in school to become a chiropractor myself. As a result, I've only ever had to see a medical doctor a couple times in my entire life, because chiropractors do more than address your pain. They are able to help you maintain a higher quality of life!
